Gardaí release name of man killed in Harold's Cross apartment

Gardaí have released the name of a 30-year-old man killed in a Dublin apartment early on Saturday.

Gardaí have released the name of a 30-year-old man killed in a Dublin apartment early on Saturday.

He was Michael Hughes of Banagher, Co Offaly.

A 24-year-old man who was arrested near the scene is still being held by gardaí.

The victim's body was found in the hallway of the Manor Villas apartments in Harold's Cross.

It was confirmed yesterday that he died as a result of multiple stab wounds.
