One dead, two seriously hurt in Kilkenny crash

A 27-year-old man has been killed after a road accident in Co Kilkenny last night.

The motorcyclist died after his bike crashed into a car at Gurteen, in Slieverue, just before 7.30pm.

Two other people - a young man and woman in their teens who were in the car at the time -were seriously injured.

Gardaí are appealing for witnesses to the crash.
