Flooding in Sligo and Kilkenny has left roads impassable

Motorists are being warned to be extra vigilant on the roads this afternoon because of flooding in many areas.

In Sligo a number of roads are impassable while in Leitrim there is heavy surface water on the N16.

The Bleech Road in Kilkenny is impassable and motorists are being advised to avoid the area.
