A young man who fell ill at a house party in Waterford last month has died.

Kevin Doyle was one of two men who were put on life-support at Waterford Regional Hospital following the party at Ballybeg Square.

It is believed they may have overdosed on cocaine.

The 21-year-old passed away at around 1pm today, after ten days on life-support.

His family said they were totally devastated by his death, particularly because he had already overcome life-threatening cancer.

They said their thoughts were with the family of 23-year-old John Gray, who remains in a coma in hospital.
