Labour seeks integrated approach to climate change

The Labour Party has today called for an integrated approach among various Government departments to the issue of climate change.

The party is also seeking new legislation obliging the Government to reduce greenhouse gas emissions every year, as well as the establishment of a National Forum on Climate Change.

It says political leadership at the highest level of Government is needed if the issue is to be genuinely addressed.
