The Government has reportedly refused to grant visas to more than 100 people over the past three years because it believed they had entered into bogus marriages with Irish citizens.

The Government has reportedly refused to grant visas to more than 100 people over the past three years because it believed they had entered into bogus marriages with Irish citizens.

Reports this morning say the gardaí have encountered cases of people offering themselves as brides or grooms for €2,000 to aid bogus visa applications.
