Ombudsman calls for increased support for disabled

The Ombudsman for Children is calling for greater support for people with disabilities.

Emily Logan is urging the Government to back a new UN Convention on the rights of disabled people.

She's also asking that children with disabilities be involved in planning new policies, and that every effort is made to combat negative stereotypes.
