A man was killed in a car crash on the main N2 road which runs between Dublin and the north west, gardaí said tonight.

A man was killed in a car crash on the main N2 road which runs between Dublin and the north west, gardaí said tonight.

The two car collision happened on a stretch of the national route at Lismeenan, Castleshane, about 8km south of Monaghan town.
