Police in Belfast have arrested two men in connection with a double murder earlier this year linked to a dispute among dissident republicans.

Police in Belfast have arrested two men in connection with a double murder earlier this year linked to a dispute among dissident republicans.

Thirty-six-year-old Edward Burns and 38-year-old Joe Jones were both killed in the city last March.

Mr Burns was shot in the head near the Falls Road, while Mr Jones was beaten to death in Ardoyne.

A 25-year-old Dublin man was remanded in custody earlier this month after being charged with Mr Burns' murder.
