Opposition attacks Harney in heated debate

The crisis surrounding breast cancer services in the state was tonight branded one of the blackest chapters in the recent history of the country's health system.

Minister for Health Mary Harney and the Health Service Executive (HSE) must be held to account for the controversy which has affected hundreds of women in three leading hospitals, the Labour Party claimed.
