Man crushed by truck at Dublin recycling plant

Two separate investigations are underway into a fatal accident at a recycling plant in Dublin yesterday evening.

Gardaí say a man in his 40s died when he was crushed by a truck in the Merrywell Industrial Estate near Clondalkin at around 5.30pm.

He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Gardaí and the Health and Safety Authority have both launched investigations into the incident.
