Two men still in custody over Baiba Saulite murder

Two men remain in garda custody this morning on suspicion of withholding information about the murder of Latvian woman Baiba Saulite a year ago.

The pair, both in their 40s, were arrested in Dublin and Kildare yesterday on the first anniversary of the 28-year-old's murder.

The mother-of-one was shot dead on the doorstep of her home in the Swords area of north Dublin in what Gardaí believe was a contract killing.

Several arrests have been made, but nobody has ever been charged.
