Clintons in Dublin to raise money and discuss the North

Former US President Bill Clinton will visit Dublin today on a fund-raising mission to support his wife's bid for Presidency.

He will meet with Bertie Ahern at Government Buildings this evening where the transformation in Northern politics will be discussed.

The Taoiseach will take the opportunity to update President Clinton on developments in the North since the restoration of devolved government in May

The men will also discuss the progress made under the Ireland-Clinton Foundation HIV and Aids Partnership.

After the meeting, Mr Clinton will attend a private fundraising event Ballsbridge.
