Warning of paramiltary threats to SDLP

Members of the nationalist SDLP in the North were tonight warned to step up their personal security following a threat from loyalist paramilitaries.

A party spokesman confirmed police warned them that elements within the south-east Antrim area were planning an attack on a member of the party.
