SIPTU calls for all-out strike at Aer Lingus
Siptu this evening calling for all out strike action at Aer Lingus after the airline's threat to suspend workers who take part in next week's industrial action.
The dispute centres on the conditions of employment of workers.
Siptu is now seeking the support of the Irish Congress of Trade Unions in the ongoing row.
In the event that it gets that backing, all other unions at the airline would join the pickets, but that is not likely to coincide with next week's planned rolling work stoppages on Tuesday and Friday.
