Gaelscoil supporters mount protest outside Dáil

Supporters of gaelscoileanna have mounted a protest outside the Dáil today over the Government's plans to introduce English by no later than the second term of junior infants in Irish-language schools.

The Minister for Education is planning to force such schools to hold two and a half hours of English-language lessons from next year.
