Woman’s body found in Carlow town

The body of a woman in her late twenties has been found in a house in Carlow town.

Gardaí launched an investigation following the discovery of her body in a bathroom of the house at Ardmore Gardens at 1.30pm this afternoon.

The scene was sealed off pending a forensic examination, and the services of the State Pathologist's office were requested.
