Teen who threatened to kill mother faces trial

A teenager, who allegedly threatened to kill his mother, torch her house and shoot gardaí, has been returned for trial to the Dublin Circuit Criminal Court.

The 17-year-old boy, a father of one, who is on bail, had been charged at the Dublin Children’s Court with making threats to kill his mother and gardaí, as well as threats to criminally damage his home in the early hours of May 30 last.
