Boy, 17, in joy-ride taxi crash, awaits sentence

A teenager, who caused about €13,000 worth of damages when he crashed a stolen car into a taxi, has been remanded on bail pending sentence.

The teenage boy (aged 17) had pleaded guilty at the Dublin Children’s Court to unlawfully using a stolen car and criminal damage, which occurred on November 24 last year, in Ballymun.
