Taoiseach to take 'realistic approach' to finances

The Taoiseach, Bertie Ahern, has said his priority for the year ahead is to maintain a realistic approach to financial policy.

Mr Ahern was speaking at a meeting of the social partners in Dublin's Farmleigh House today to discuss progress in the implementation of the Towards 2016 agreement.
