Ireland needs sustainable waste system, says Gormley

Minister for Environment John Gormley says Ireland needs to move quickly towards a sustainable waste management system for hazardous materials.

Mr Gormley was responding to a recommendation from the Environmental Protection Agency in relation to hazardous waste, 50% of which is currently exported for treatment and disposal.
