US student allegedly raped at knifepoint in Derry's Bogside

A US student in her late teens has been raped at knifepoint outside a pub in Derry's Bogside area.

The young woman had been socialising with friends at the Bogside Inn on Saturday evening, but went outside the bar briefly, where she was confronted by a man with a knife.
