Six Irish writers have been included on the long-list for next year's IMPAC Dublin Literary Award.

A total of 137 writers have been nominated for the €100,000 prize.

The Irish nominees are John Boyne, Michael Collins, Alison Jameson, Claire Kilroy, Patrick McCabe and Colum McCann.
