SDLP leader prepares for new cross-border allegiances

SDLP leader Mark Durkan told his party's annual conference in Armagh today that it should be ready to make new political allegiances across the border.

There has been speculation of a possible merger with Fianna Fáil after the Taoiseach Bertie Ahern announced a working party to look at expanding into the North.
