Seven diagnosed with breast cancer following HSE review

Seven women whose cases were reviewed as part of an investigation into treatments at Portlaoise Hospital have been diagnosed with breast cancer.

The Health Service Executive set up the review at the end of August following concerns raised by staff working in breast services.
