Drivers facing major delays on M50 motorway

Motorists are facing major delays on the south-bound stretch of Dublin's M50 motorway this morning.

Hold-ups of up to one hour are being reported at the Leopardstown Road and into the Sandyford Industrial Estate.

Drivers are being advised to use the Ballinteer interchange instead.

The reason for the delays is unclear, but they may be related to a new traffic light sequence experiment.
