Dublin man jailed for robbery of Laois bank

A 27-year-old man is to be sentenced at Dublin Circuit Criminal Court for the robbery of a Co Laois bank three years ago.

A 27-year-old man is to be sentenced at Dublin Circuit Criminal Court for the robbery of a Co Laois bank three years ago.

Alan Freeman, of Deansrath Grove, Clondalkin, pleaded guilty to robbing approximately €10,500 from Bank of Ireland, Rathdowney, Co Laois on February 13, 2004.

Judge Katherine Delahunt remanded him on continuing bail until his sentence date next February.
