Moneypoint's Polish workers to vote on industrial action

Two hundred Polish workers at Moneypoint power station, who claim they haven't been paid since the beginning of September, are to ballot for industrial action this evening.

The workers are employed on a refurbishment programme at the station but the sub-contractor they work for has had its contract with the ESB terminated.

The Technical, Engineering and Electrical Union which represents the workers wants them to be given jobs by whoever takes over the contract.
