Social services refused to help a homeless teenager, whose parents have stopped being involved with him, the Dublin Children’s Court heard today.

The boy (aged 16) is facing Public Order Act charges for being drunk and disorderly and engaging in a breach of the peace was accompanied to court by a course co-ordinator from the training programme he is taking part in.
