Man stabbed during row at Limerick city apartment

A man is recovering in hospital this morning after being stabbed during a row in Limerick last night.

Gardaí were called to the scene at an apartment in Catherine Place just before 11.30pm.

The victim was taken to the Midwestern Regional Hospital, where his injuries are not thought to be life-threatening.

Nobody has been arrested in connection with the stabbing, but Gardaí have sealed off the scene and are conducting door-to-door inquiries in the area today.
