Councillors suspended amid inquiry into driveway work

Two Meath County Council officials have been suspended amid claims that council staff carried out work on the driveway of one of their private homes.

The local authority has launched an investigation into a complaint that its staff resurfaced the driveway of a council foreman, with the approval of his supervisor.
