Man charged with murder of Dublin woman

A 32-year-old man is due back in court next Tuesday charged with the murder of a woman in Dublin.

A 32-year-old man is due back in court next Tuesday charged with the murder of a woman in Dublin.

Stephen Carney, with an address at Anna Livia apartments on James' street in the city appeared at Kilmainham District Court this morning.

He was charged with the murder of 27-year-old Amanda Jenkins on or between October 5 and October 7.

When charged, he replied "I am sorry".

An application for legal aid was granted, and Mr Carney was remanded in custody to appear at Cloverhill District Court on October 16.
