Private Greens meeting today

Green Party members from around the Country will hold a special meeting behind closed doors today.

The meeting will assess the performance of the party in Government since June.

Certain positions taken by the Greens on a number of issues, such as the M3 motorway and payments to the Taoiseach, are expected to be contentious at today's gathering.

Dan Boyle is one of two Green Senators in the Oireachtas.

He says the only people being critical of the party are the opposition parties.
