Gangland crime to be discussed at cabinet meeting

The issue of gangland crime is expected to be high on the agenda when the cabinet holds its regular weekly meeting in Dublin today.

Ministers are expected to discuss new plans to target organised criminals following the shooting of a motorcycle garda in the capital last week.
