Cork man charged in relation to massive seizure of heroin

A 26-year-old man has appeared in court charged in connection with the largest ever heroin seizure in Cork.

An estimated €200,000 worth of the drug was found during a planned operation in the Shanakiel area.

Brian Wall from Beechtrees Avenue in Shanakiel was charged with three drug offences.

He has been remanded custody to appear in court again on the 16th of October.
