Four men in custody after two drug seizures in Cork

Gardaí in Cork are questioning four men following two separate drug seizures yesterday.

One man is being held after a kilo of heroin was discovered in the Shanakiel area.

Gardaí say the find was worth €200,000 and was the largest ever heroin seizure in Cork.

Meanwhile, three eastern European men are being held after €40,000 worth of cannabis and a substance believed to be cocaine was found during a raid on a house in Cobh.
