Top garda backed adjournment of publican's summonses

The former top garda in Donegal today said he supported the adjournment of dozens of District Court summonses against a publican over credibility issues with prosecuting gardaí.

More than 60 charges of liqueur licensing breaches were brought against Raphoe publican Frank McBrearty Senior in the late 1990s.
