O’Loan to publish report into Rosemary Nelson case
The North's Police Ombudsman is due to publish a report today into the RUC's handling of threats made against solicitor Rosemary Nelson.
Nuala O'Loan began the investigation after receiving a complaint from a Belfast-based human rights group.
The Committee on the Administration of Justice claims the police failed to properly investigate threats against Ms Nelson before she was blown up in a loyalist car bomb in March 1999.
A public inquiry has been established to investigate claims that the RUC colluded with her killers, but its work has been postponed.
