Winning Lotto ticket sold in Tuam Statoil station
The lucky winning ticket in last nights Lotto draw was sold in Statoil Service Station Tuam Road, Co Galway.
The €10m ticket, which was a €6 quick pick, was sold yesterday. The lucky winner is now the second biggest winner of the National Lottery after the Cunningham Family from Cork who won €16m earlier this year.
Speculation is mounting across Tuam as to who is the lucky ticket holder. The Tuam Statoil Service Station owned and operated by Topaz Energy Ltd.
Speaking about the win today the station manager Caroline Ward said: "We are absolutely delighted to have sold the winning ticket. Unfortunately I know it’s not me as I’ve already checked my ticket! But somebody who bought their ticket here is now €10m richer. Whoever it is I hope that they come back to visit us here to fill up their new Rolls Royce or Ferrari!"
