FF members in Mayo divided over Flynn re-admission
Fianna Fáil members in Castlebar, Co Mayo, have failed to reach agreement on the proposed re-admission of Beverly Flynn to the party.
Around 50 members attached to three Fianna Fáil cumainn in Castlebar attended a meeting last night to discuss the situation.
Spokesman Denis Gallagher said today that there was an open and frank debate, with some in favour of Ms Flynn's re-admission and others against it.
He said those in attendance agreed to adjourn the matter until a later date to allow for further consultations with Fianna Fáil headquarters.
