Ballina named as Ireland's worst unemployment blackspot

Ballina, Tralee and Dundalk were the worst unemployment blackspots in Ireland last year, according to figures published by the Central Statistics Office today.

The figures are based on last year's census and relate to towns and cities with a population of more than 10,000 people.
