Gormley urged to ban blood sports

Minister for Environment John Gormley is coming under pressure to follow through with a pre-election promise to ban all blood sports.

Lobby groups want the Green Party leader to refuse a license enabling coursing clubs to capture hares to use during hunts.

A decision on the license is expected next week.
