Post mortem on body of Westmeath man

A preliminary post mortem has been carried on the body of a man in his 20s, found in Co Westmeath in the early hours of the morning.

A preliminary post mortem has been carried on the body of a man in his 20s, found in Co Westmeath in the early hours of the morning.

The examination revealed that there are no obvious injuries on the body, although the cause of death is not yet known.

The man's body was discovered in a camper can at Lough Lene in Collinstown.

The scene was sealed off for forensic examination.

A man in his 20s has been arrested in connection with the incident and is being held at Mullingar Garda station.

Gardaí say they are not looking for anyone else at this time.
