Three Irish soldiers are hearing the evidence against them today over allegations that they pointed a weapon at locals in Liberia and put the recorded footage on the Internet.

The three, from the 3rd Infantry Battalion based in Kilkenny, face charges in connection with the incident, which happened during peacekeeping duties in the west African country.
