Man held after body found in Westmeath camper van

Gardaí in Westmeath have arrested a man in his late 20s following the discovery of a body in a camper van in Collinstown early today.

The discovery was made at around 4am near Lough Lene.

The dead man was in his 20s.

The scene has been sealed off for technical examination and a post mortem is due to be carried out later to determine the cause of death.
