Man dies in Co Limerick road accident

A man has died following a single-car collision in Kilcornan, Co Limerick, in the early hours of this morning.

The accident happened on the Askeaton to Limerick road at around 1am.

The victim, who was in his 20s, was taken to the Mid Western Regional Hospital, where he died a short time later.
