Young man and woman killed Wexford crash

A 23-year-old man and an 18-year-old girl have died in an overnight car crash in Co Wexford.

The single-vehicle collision happened three miles north of Clonegal at around 11pm.

The car the two victims were travelling in is understood to have crashed into a tree.

The road remains closed while gardaí investigate the cause of the accident and witnesses are being urged to come forward.
