Ministers discuss effects of Shannon move

Taoiseach Bertie Ahern, has broken his silence on the controversy surrounding the decision by Aer Lingus to axe its Shannon to Heathrow route.

The Government has come under major fire over its hands-off attitude to the move and its refusal to intervene as a major shareholder in the airline.
