Completion dates extended for key Transport 21 projects

Almost one-third of the key road and rail projects announced under the much-vaunted Transport 21 scheme have reportedly been delayed for between one and two years.

The scheme is only 18 months old, but reports this morning say the completion dates for 11 major projects have been revised without any explanation on various websites funded by the Department of Transport .
