Brazilian man dies in hospital after Meath stabbing
A 33-year-old Brazilian man who was stabbed in the head in Co Meath 12 days ago has lost his fight for life in hospital.
Claudio Fernandes had been on a life support machine at Beaumont Hospital in Dublin since the stabbing in Duleek on July 29th.
Doctors had to remove a boning knife from his skull.
A 17-year-old youth has already been charged with assault causing harm and possession of a knife in connection with the stabbing.
